Frequently asked questions.
What is your approach?
My practice is rooted in Narrative, somatic, and client-centered therapies. I see it as my role to understand your hopes and values through curiosity. If you’d like to learn more about how our sessions might go, send me a message!
What are your fees?
Your investment in yourself should feel steady and supported, not overwhelming. My fee is $175/50-minute session, and I have a limited number of sliding scale slots available. I approach fees with the same collaboration I bring to the rest of our work. If it seems that my fee structure may create a barrier, I can explore possible referral options with you. My hope is that money does not become a barrier to the work you want to do.
Do you take insurance?
Currently, I am partnered with Aetna for Texas clients. For all other providers in Texas and for all providers in California, I can offer you a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
How do I know if I need therapy?
You do not need a problem to start therapy. You only need a desire for support, reflection, or change. Therapy is a place for care, not correction.
